I attended the University of South Africa (UNISA), where I acquired my degree in criminology and psychology as well as my honors in psychology. I have also acquired my 168 hour, Level 5 TEFL certificate. I am an experienced ESL Teacher with six years of teaching in a variety of educational settings. I have taught children and adults from Asia, Africa, Middle East, Europe and South America. Throughout my career as an online teacher, I've developed various strategies to ensure I truly understand and support my students. In addition, I've adopted various tools to create an engaging and interactive learning environment. My ability to connect with students personally, combined with my technical skills, has proven successful in promoting student engagement and achievement. I believe that a classroom should be a safe and caring community where individuals of all ages are free to speak their mind, blossom and grow. My teaching environment is relaxed, engaging and friendly.
