I graduated from the University of Pretoria with a BCom Financial Sciences degree. After that, I enrolled in and successfully completed the TEFL Professional and Development Institute's 120-hour TEFL Certificate course. I also taught English to children at Ebenezer Excellence Academy between the ages of 10 and 14 during that period, which was a really an enjoyable job! I've been teaching Math and English as a second language at Ebenezer Excellence Academy. I worked with an average of fifteen children per class when I first started as a Teacher Assistant. My classes increased as my role did. I now tutor 20 to 25 children each class time at Ebenezer House of Hope. I deal with learners who have basic to advanced English proficiency in each of these classes, assisting them in improving their assignment grades. With my help, my learners' test and assignment results have increased by a whole letter grade on average.
