I have resided in Seattle, WA for the better part of my adult life, however, I grew up in Fukuoka, Japan due to my parents living there. My career has consisted of working as a health coach and chef, primarily, and it's through those venues that I enjoy teaching non-native English speakers. I believe if students can have fun, then their learning curve improves exponentially, and they enjoy learning English so much more. As it concerns classroom teaching, I strongly believe that incorporating real life English into the curriculum enhances the student's learning experience dramatically. I have over 30 years of English teaching experience, both at the classroom level, as well as private English classes taught at the client's home. It's for the above reasons that I am confident that I can be a positive addition to any school or institute's English learning program.
