Throughout my 15-year career, I have loved learning about cultures and have traveled the world as a cultural ambassador for most of my life. From my experience, being a great educator does not require an abundance of materials, but an acknowledgment of meeting the needs of the population you are working with within their space with their resources. Years of teaching co-ed classes in the United States that included Saudi, Middle Eastern, and Asian students have prepared me for the cultural sensitivities that are needed.
