INX Academy is seeking a qualified and motivated Hospitality Certificate Instructor to teach students in our Certificate in Hospitality Management program. The instructor will be responsible for delivering engaging, practical, and academically focused lessons related to hospitality operations, guest services, hotel management, restaurant management, revenue management, and customer experience.
The ideal candidate will have professional experience in the hospitality industry and the ability to connect classroom instruction with real-world hospitality practices.
The Hospitality Certificate Instructor will:
Teach assigned hospitality courses according to the approved curriculum and course schedule.
Prepare lesson plans, classroom activities, assignments, and assessments.
Provide instruction in areas such as hotel operations, guest services, restaurant management, hospitality marketing, revenue management, and customer service.
Evaluate student performance through quizzes, projects, participation, and final assessments.
Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and student progress records.
Support students in understanding hospitality industry standards and professional expectations.
Create a positive, respectful, and engaging classroom environment.
Follow school policies, academic standards, and compliance requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Tourism, Management, or a related field preferred.
Professional experience in hospitality, hotel management, restaurant management, tourism, or a related industry required.
Prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience preferred.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Ability to work with international and adult learners.
Familiarity with practical hospitality operations and customer service standards.
Experience in hotel operations, front office management, food and beverage management, event planning, tourism, or hospitality sales.
Experience teaching certificate, vocational, adult education, or international student programs.
Knowledge of hospitality technology, reservation systems, revenue management, or guest loyalty programs.
Part-time teaching schedule. Exact class days and hours may vary based on program needs.
Compensation is based on qualifications, experience, and teaching assignment.
