Job Description

The English Language Fellow Program is recruiting applicants for the 2027-2028 academic year.

  1. The English Language Fellow Program sends experienced U.S. educators who work with English language learners on paid, in-country teaching assignments at universities and other institutions around the world.
  2. Fellows train future English teachers, teach university students and professionals, deliver English for Specific Purposes (ESP) instruction, and share American educational expertise with local communities.
  3. The Fellowship provides U.S. educators with opportunities to strengthen their professional skills, gain international experience, and bring new knowledge and perspectives back to their careers and communities in the United States.

Who are we looking for? Educators with:

  1. Five years of experience in education, including at least three years in ESL/EFL classrooms or three years teaching English Language Learners
  2. A graduate degree, preferably in TESOL or Education with TEFL certification, or a related field
  3. U.S. citizenship
