Job Description

Part-time, from 2 hours/week, weekdays and weekends. 3000yen/week. Teach classes; complete essential administrative tasks such as record sheets and student reports; prepare for college and university lessons by creating syllabi, assessment tools, and grading homework; participate in IELTS training program; and attend special course orientations. Work location Ichigaya, Tokyo (work from home possible). Proper visa, native English speaker, BA, TESL/TEFL/TESOL with practicum from a credited organization, three years experience teaching EFL, and experience teaching test preparation courses (IELTS/TOEFL/TOEIC/EIKEN, etc.) required. MA, experience teaching English to Japanese nationals, experience as an English language test examiner (IELTS/TOEFL/EIKEN, etc.), good working knowledge of grammar, experience sitting an IELTS exam with an 8.0 overall band score, and bilingual (Japanese/English) preferred. SCHOOL PREFERS THAT APPLICANT CURRENTLY RESIDE IN THE TOKYO AREA. Transportation allowance, and training. One-year contract. Application deadline March 31, 2021. Position begins ASAP.
