Much attention is given to other regions of Spain, but the real Spanish blood, its true history, and its essence are found in Spain’s core: Castilla-La Mancha. It’s a historical, quiet, safe region; close to Madrid and the beach. Come to Castilla-La Mancha and teach English during the 2022/2023 academic year!

Join our ConversaSpain Program to become an Auxiliar de Conversación, and know the Spanish culture first-hand while teaching 4 days a week from October to the end of May/June. Living among Spaniards will deeply change the way you look at the world!

ConversaSpain currently works with more than 300 public schools in the regions of Castilla-La Mancha, Madrid, and Murcia. You will receive a placement and be able to merge with the community, you will immerse yourself in its unknowing towns, explore their lifestyle and gastronomy while exchanging your culture with learners of English. 

What’s Included in The Program?
•    15/16/12 teaching hours per week in 3-4 teaching days
•    Placement ensured and monthly stipend (€1,000 in Madrid, €875 in Murcia, and €700 in Castilla-La Mancha)
•    Pre-departure assistance: concerning the visa application process, background checks, or medical certificates
•   Welcome Documents available in English on the ConversaSpain Online Platform: step-by-step instructions to process legal documents, practical tools, and advice to get settled in your new destination. (How to find an apartment, transportation, bank accounts, sim cards, Spanish lessons, and more).
•    Personalized support during our office hours
•    Health coverage and medical assistance if needed
•    Join our network through different channels (Facebook, Instagram and Linkedin) and be part of the community of participants before your arrival in Spain.

What Are the Requirements?
•    Be a Native-level English speaker.
•    Hold a 3+ year university/college degree (e.g.: Bachelor, Master, NQF7, or equivalent) in any subject.
•    Be a citizen of a country where English is the official language hold a C2 English Certificate (CEFR) or equivalent.
•    Be aged up to 59 at the beginning of the program.
