Duration: 17 months total: 5 months teaching training period and one year guaranteed full time contract

5 months teacher training details:

Position: Tutor and Substitute Teacher

Working hours: Combination of one to one tutoring and school substituting (20 working hours per week). Substitute teacher working hours is from 8am to 4:30 pm in a Kindergarten, Primary, Middle or High School which has 4 teaching hours and will be counted as 4 working hours.

Working days: 5 days a week

Days off: 2 days a week (depending on teaching assignments)

Requirements:

-Native level English fluency

-No previous teaching experience necessary;

-Police certificate/Non-criminal record certificate

-TEFL 120 hours or TESOL certificate

-Friendly and warm personality

-Passionate about teaching young learners.

-Patient and hardworking.

Arrival Support:

-Airport Pick-Up.

-Hotel accommodation for the first 3 days

-New Chinese SIM Card assistance.

-Accommodation support (checking options, signing a rental agreement and payment of deposits and advance typically 4 months rental in Shanghai.

Training and Placement:

-Orientation and on-board training from our Shanghai team

-Training with our professional staff trainer in preparation for lesson planning for tutoring & classroom classes. 

-Provide continuous training and teaching tips throughout the internship program.

Full time position details:

Position: Kindergarten Homeroom teacher

Student age:  2-6 years

Student group: around 15-20

Work schedule: 8:00am-4:30 Monday to Friday

Duties and Responsibilities:

-Strictly implement the kindergarten daily schedule and the position detailed rules and regulations, following the law of children’s physical and mental development to achieve the combination of child care and teaching;

-According to the kindergarten curriculum projects, completing all kinds of teaching materials on time and preparing for the activities in advance (teaching plan, teaching aids, teaching focus and difficulty, etc.) to ensure the implementation of the plan;

-Be able to organize and use various ways and means to carry out teaching activities independently.

-Conduct scientific researches according to teacher’s own characteristics or difficulties in teaching. Taking the initiative to undertake related tasks and constantly improving their professional ability and quality.

-Keep daily communication with parents.

-Organize and manage the class activities.

-Focus on the combination of child care and teaching to cultivate children’s habits of good living, learning and behavior in kindergarten

-Participate in all the activities in kindergarten.

Benefits:

-Monthly salary: 18,000 to 20,000 RMB after tax (net earnings, no other deductions) depends on qualifications 

-Flight Allowance: 6000 RMB; (after contract completion)

-Legal ‘Z’ work visa fees covered including residence visa & work permit fees

Documents for applying a work permit and residence permit:

1. Bachelor Degree or above, the original document and its Apostille (make sure there is a word of “bachelor” on your certificate and the police clearance is valid at least 3 months from when you applied it.)
2. TESOL/TEFL certificate and its Apostille (at least 120H) or 2-years of related teaching experience (a recommendation letter is needed for the latter situation)
3. Police check and it’s Apostille (the police clearance is valid at least 3 months from when you applied it.)
4. Passport info. + CV + digital photo (white background)
