The first Genius English Institute branch was established in 1988 by Charlie and his brother, Louis. Since then, Genius English Institute has grown from 4 students in a single classroom to an international company. Since starting Genius English Institute, Charlie and Louis have developed their own series of books in Math and English. These books are used across China and Taiwan by after-school programs, as well as in the public-school system in Taiwan. These books have seen great success in teaching students to write the Cambridge test, which is an international assessment for English as a Second Language speakers.
