Payments and billing

Payments for job postings, subscriptions, resume services, advertising, or other paid services may be handled by third-party payment processors.

ESLBoards may receive transaction information such as your name, billing address, email address, payment status, transaction identifier, amount, currency, and limited payment method details. Full card numbers and security codes are generally collected and processed directly by the payment provider rather than stored by ESLBoards.

Payment providers process information under their own privacy policies and legal obligations.

16. Unsubscribing from marketing will not prevent necessary account, security, transaction, or service messages.

17. Automated tools and artificial intelligence

ESLBoards may use automated systems or artificial intelligence-assisted tools to support features such as:

Job and candidate recommendations;

Resume or job-description suggestions;

Content classification and moderation;

Spam, scam, fraud, or abuse detection;

Customer support assistance;

Search relevance and matching;

Translation, summarization, or writing assistance; and

Website analytics and service improvement.

Automated outputs may contain errors and should not be treated as employment, immigration, legal, financial, or professional advice. Employers and recruiters remain responsible for reviewing candidates and making employment decisions. Job seekers remain responsible for reviewing applications and verifying job opportunities.

Where required by applicable law, we will provide information about material automated decision-making and any available rights to request review or challenge a decision.

18. How we share your information

We may disclose personal information in the following circumstances:

18.1 With job seekers, recruiters, employers, and schools

We share profile, job, resume, application, and communication information as necessary to provide recruitment and job-search services and according to your actions and visibility settings.

18.2 With service providers

We may use trusted providers for hosting, cloud storage, content delivery, email delivery, analytics, customer support, payment processing, fraud prevention, security, advertising, database management, and other operational services.

18.3 With connected third-party services

When you choose to use a social login, external application system, integration, sharing function, or connected service, we may exchange information necessary to provide that feature.

18.4 For legal and safety purposes

We may disclose information when we reasonably believe it is necessary to:

Comply with applicable law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or lawful request;

Investigate fraud, scams, security incidents, or policy violations;

Protect the safety and rights of users or the public;

Enforce our agreements and policies; or

Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

18.5 During a business transaction

If ESLBoards is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar transaction, information may be disclosed or transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

19. You are responsible for protecting your password, restricting access to your devices, and notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

ESLBoards will never ask you to provide your account password through a public comment or social media post.

23. Job-search safety and fraudulent activity

Although we may use moderation, verification, and fraud-prevention measures, ESLBoards cannot guarantee the identity, legitimacy, accuracy, or conduct of every employer, recruiter, school, candidate, job listing, or external website.

Exercise caution when responding to job opportunities. In particular:

Verify the employer or school independently;

Be cautious about requests for upfront payments;

Do not send passwords, banking login details, gift cards, or cryptocurrency;

Do not provide unnecessary identity documents before confirming the recipient;

Review employment contracts and visa requirements carefully; and

Report suspicious job listings, messages, or users to ESLBoards.

Information about jobs, salaries, visas, work permits, qualifications, and relocation is provided for general informational purposes and is not legal, immigration, tax, or employment advice.

24. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:

Request access to personal information we hold about you;

Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;

Request deletion of certain personal information;

Request a portable copy of certain information;

Restrict or object to certain processing;

Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;

Opt out of certain marketing communications;

Opt out of certain targeted advertising, selling, or sharing;

Appeal a decision concerning a privacy request, where applicable;

Request information about automated decision-making, where applicable; and

Complain to an appropriate data protection or privacy regulator.

These rights are not absolute. We may retain or continue processing information when permitted or required by law, including for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, recordkeeping, or the establishment and defense of legal claims.

25. California and other United States privacy rights

Residents of California and certain other U.S. states may have additional rights regarding access, correction, deletion, portability, targeted advertising, profiling, and the sale or sharing of personal information.

Where applicable, you may submit a request using the contact information in this policy. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. You may also be permitted to use an authorized agent, subject to legally permitted verification requirements.

26. European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland

If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may have rights under applicable data protection laws, including rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, and withdrawal of consent.

You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in the country where you live, work, or believe a violation occurred.

27. How to exercise your privacy rights

To request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or another privacy action, contact:

Email: [privacy@eslboards.com]

Privacy request page: [Insert data-request or data-deletion URL]

Please include enough information for us to understand and verify your request. We may ask you to confirm your email address, account ownership, or other information. Do not send unnecessary government identification documents unless specifically requested through a secure method.

We will respond within the period required by applicable law. If we cannot fulfill all or part of a request, we will explain the applicable reason where required.

28. Account deletion

You may request deletion of your ESLBoards account through your account settings, where available, or by contacting us at [privacy@eslboards.com].

Deleting your account may remove or deactivate your profile and associated services. Some information may remain where retention is required or permitted for legal compliance, financial records, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, backup recovery, or enforcement of our agreements.

Information already shared with an employer, recruiter, school, social network, payment provider, or another third party may remain in that party’s systems. You may need to contact that organization separately.

29. Children’s privacy

ESLBoards is intended for adults seeking employment, recruitment, or professional services. It is not directed to children under 16, or a higher minimum age where required by local law.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable minimum age. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to ESLBoards, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

30. Do Not Track and browser signals

Some browsers provide “Do Not Track” signals. Because there is no single universally accepted standard for responding to all such signals, our response may vary.

Where applicable law requires recognition of an approved opt-out preference signal, we will process supported signals as legally required.

31. Password reset and account security

If you request a password reset, technical information such as your IP address may be included in or associated with the password-reset process for security and fraud-prevention purposes.

32. Where information may be sent

Comments, job listings, profiles, messages, file uploads, and form submissions may be checked through automated spam, malware, abuse-detection, moderation, or fraud-prevention services.

Information may also be transmitted to hosting, cloud, content-delivery, analytics, email, payment, social login, advertising, and support providers used to operate ESLBoards.

33. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our services, technologies, business practices, or legal obligations.

When we make changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice through the website, account dashboard, or email where appropriate.

We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

34.
